The U-12 team from Ivo10 Brazil Football Academy put on a show in the dispute of the 2021 Trigo D'Ouro Football League with the achievement, with 100% success, of the first edition of the competition. With 10 wins in 10 games played, and an incredible 83 goals scored, the team of coaches William Gomes, Fernando Tife, Oumar Diarra and Adzayi Felix gave no chances to opponents.
Trigo D'Ouro was played in the form of round and return. The match that consecrated Ivo10 Brazil as champion was against South America Soccer Limited (SASL), valid for the last round, took place on Saturday morning (18), at the main course of Caesars Golf de Macau, in Taipa, Macau. Final result of 7-0, highlighting the attacking midfielder Salvador Rodrigues, who scored three goals, gave an assist and was named best player of the match. Harrison Tang, Lucas Sands (2x) and Nuno Sin also scored.
Director of Ivo10 Brazil, in addition to one of the coaches, William Gomes spoke about the title won. “It is very gratifying for us to win this title. The boys managed to reproduce in the field our entire philosophy and methodology of teaching and work. Of course we are excited about the retrospective, but we are also very grateful for having seen on the field everything that we prioritize in our training, such as tactics, technique, movements, plays, physical performance and respect for the opponent, all reproduced by our players with excellence. We are really very happy with this title”, he said.
William Gomes also took the opportunity to congratulate those responsible for Trigo D'Ouro for organizing and conducting the competition. Until this season of 2021, there were no tournaments for under 14s in Macau. “We would like to thank all the professionals involved in organizing and conducting the day-to-day running of Trigo D'Ouro Football League, for all the opportunity they gave to these children who love football as much as we do. Before, here in Macau there was no competition for boys of that age and that was missing. It was very good for all of them, from all six teams. You can be sure that, whenever there is this competition, Ivo10 Brazil will participate and collaborate as much as possible. My sincere vote of thanks”, he praised.
The first edition of Trigo D'Ouro U12 Football League began in September 2021 and, even with the impediments caused by the terrible pandemic of Covid-19, it was not cancelled. The competition organizers re-scheduled the dates, kept everyone confident, and masterfully carried them through to the end in December.
