First exchange student at Ivo10 Brazil, defender Jeff Chio is back in Macau

Defender Jeff Chio is back in Macau after four months of training on Brazilian fields. A highlight of the Asia unit of the Ivo10 Brazil Football Academy, the 15-year-old Chinese crossed the planet as the first exchange student of the entire project, a milestone in the still brief history of the Academy.

Jeff arrived in Brazil in November, in the final stretch of two competitions. Well prepared on the fields of Macau, he soon assumed the starting position of the U-15 team, playing in the final games that resulted in the winning of the third championship of Gauchão Noligafi.

In addition to Gauchão, he also entered the field in the Liga Serrana Under-15 Championship and in two short competitions in January 2023: the Taquari and Teutônia Cups. And he won another title on Brazilian soil in the city of Taquari (RS).

Before returning to China, he also spent a week learning in the youth teams of Mirassol, in São Paulo’s countryside, one of the teams with the best structure in the state.

Back at Ivo10 Brazil from Macau, Jeff Chio has already been reinstated to the U-16 squad and continues to carry out specific jobs under the guidance of William Gomes, Adzayi Felix and Oumar Diarra.
