The Ivo10 Brazil Football Academy U16 team won for the first time the 2022 Macau League, the main competition of the category held in Macau. With just over two years since its foundation, the Academy founded by Brazilian soccer athletes Ivo and William Gomes, and by football businessman César Soler, has been fulfilling goals and objectives and gaining more and more notoriety and respect in South Asia. Ivo10 Brazil is also in Brazil, in the city of Teutônia, in Rio Grande do Sul, with U15 and U17 teams.
Ivo10 Brazil's U16 campaign was devastating. In six games played, five wins, one draw and no defeat. In two triumphs, two spectacular wins: 19-0 and 21-0. There were 52 goals scored and none conceded, even against traditional Macau teams like Ching Fung, Lük Lók, CPK and Montecarlo.
“We are experiencing something wonderful at Ivo10 Brazil Football Academy. It was a short competition due to changes in the table due to the fight against the coronavirus and the quarantines imposed by the health authorities of Macau, but even so, we remained focused and saw all games as championship finals. Glory to God we already guarantee the title in advance. These boys deserve so much. They worked hard for the conquest and were deserving. The players are to be congratulated”, said the executive manager of the Macau unit of Ivo10 Brazil, William Gomes, who is also the coach of the U16.
“They were excellent matches, some with exaggerated results, but what motivates and excites us is that, difficult confrontation or not, our work was there showing up on the field. Plays rehearsed in training resulting in goals, exchange of passes, one-on-one and sector marking, well-defined positions within the four lines. And that's what fills us with pride, the same happiness as winning a title. And when all that happens and we're still champions, it's very satisfying. I want to thank all our coaches for their efforts, because we are all champions, we are all involved in the daily work with these boys. Our trainers have an enviable level of work and knowledge. It is a great pride to have this group of professionals”, reinforced Gomes, who concluded by praising the organization of the competition made by the Macau Football Association which, even with the difficulties in a pandemic period, managed to hold the Macau League with excellence. “The work they did was fantastic. They are to be congratulated".
With a record of 52 goals in six matches played, almost all Ivo10 Brazil U16 athletes hit the nets during the competition, especially Ringo, who scored 11 times. Harrison, Ruca, Miguel, Thomas, Max, Marcelo, Salvador, Marius, Big Boy, Jeffery, André, Gilbert and Jeff also scored goals.
Ivo10 Brazil also competes in the 2022 Macau League with the U13 and U19 categories.
