Ivo Soccer Camp III breaks registration records with a program full of news. Event took place at the end of August

The Ivo10 Brazil Football Academy in Macau promoted between the 21st and 25th of August 2022 the third edition of the Ivo Soccer Camp, an event that broke a record for registrations this season: 62 young athletes. With a lot of football and also space for innovative physical work, lectures, games and lots of fun, the participants felt like athletes focused on competing in a FIFA World Cup.

Just over a month after Ivo Soccer Camp III, the executive director of Ivo10 Brazil, William Gomes, spoke about the challenges of this edition and highlighted some of the great moments experienced by the athletes. “Thank God we managed to maintain and improve the quality of the two previous editions of Soccer Camp. We went through difficult times during the pandemic and we even had to change the original date of this edition due to an urgent quarantine imposed by the health authorities of Macau. Even so, we didn't let our guard down, we didn't give up, and we managed not only to maintain the quality of the previous ones, but also to reach an even better level. It was an amazing event,” he said.

“It was five days of many activities and our athletes had incredible experiences. Our coaches are to be congratulated for all their efforts over the four days, especially for their dedication and love. They were a highlight in this Soccer Camp, especially in activities like the Ivo Street and Ivo E-Sports Tournament, when they left the seriousness of field work a little aside to have too much fun with the kids. It was a differentiator. Lots of love involved”, summarized William Gomes, who made a point of highlighting all the efforts of the Ivo10 Brazil coaches at Camp.

The schedule of activities was intense as of the presentation at the Harborview Hotel Macau, on Monday afternoon (21). After checking in and visiting the rooms to unpack, the athletes already had training on the grass field at Caesars Golf Macau. Back at the hotel, before and after dinner, lectures with physiotherapist Keng Pang Leong, from partner Ivo10 Kwat Cheang Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Center, on “Injury Prevention and Treatment”; and with former athlete Carlos Bertoldi, from the Profissão Player Youtube channel, who spoke on the theme “The mental strength of a successful football player”.

Early on Tuesday (22), a group separated by age for training on the synthetic turf at the Roosevelt Hotel and training on the grass field at Caesars Golf Macau. After lunch, a photo session for the participation certificates of the Ivo Soccer Camp III and then the debut of the Ivo Street Football Mania, bringing “true Brazilian street football” to the young people of Macau for the first time. A success.

On Wednesday (23), the third day of Camp, the group of U16 athletes went for an outdoor physical activity at the Colina da Guia Municipal Park, the “Morning Mountain Trail Run”. For kids aged 10 to 13, physical, technical, and tactical training at the Roosevelt Hotel. After lunch activities in the pools of the Harborview Hotel Macau for the younger ones, while the older ones did physical training with the staff at MOBOX, a fitness center in Macau. Before dinner, the first rounds of games from the Ivo E-Sports Tournament, the disputed Fifa tournament in the video game.

Thursday (24) was the “Morning Mountain Trail Run” for the U10-U13 group, while the 16-year-old athletes trained at the Roosevelt Hotel. In the afternoon, tactical meeting with presentation of the main game concepts of the Ivo10 Brazil coaches and then application of these trainings in the field. The day ended with the fun program of “Crazy Night Out”.

The last day of Ivo Soccer Camp III, Friday (25th), started with a hearty breakfast. Starting at 9:30 am, the closing friendlies begin, when the young athletes enrolled in the Camp put into practice everything learned in the other four days. After the “finals”, leisure and fun in the pools of the Harborview Hotel Macau. Then more finals, this time from the Ivo E-Sports Tournament. Between 18:00 and 20:00, the closing dinner and delivery of certificates of participation in the biggest event organized by the Ivo10 Brazil Football Academy.
