i10 Brazil, in partnership with Macau Chiba, welcomes Fu Hong Society for social action involving physical training and football

The i10 Brazil Football Academy is much more than football. Since its foundation in Macau, a year and a half ago, until the expansion to the unit in the city of Teutônia, in southern Brazil, the project aims to train not only future professional football athletes, but also citizens with principles, values ​​and a lot of love for the next. Part of the professionals' efforts, in addition to the daily work involving football, are aimed at the community, whether in extra physical activities, sporting events or in partnerships with the main references in social action.

On Saturday (25), at the society field of the Roosevelt Hotel, in Taipa, from 8 am to 10:30 am, i10 Brazil, working together with Macau Chiba FC, welcomes teenagers and adults from the Fu Hong Society for physical and soccer activities. Founded by a group of volunteers in May 2003, the Fuhong Society of Macau is a nonprofit social service organization dedicated to providing diverse services for people with disabilities, autistic persons, and people with mental illness in rehabilitation.

At present, Fuhong operate 12 service units, includes care services, rehabilitation support service, hostel services, artistic development, vocational training, social enterprises, aiming to provide a platform and create different jobs for people with disabilities, so that they can be hired to work and actively integrate into society with their own efforts. And allow them to learn more skills and knowledge so that they can perform sufficient growth in all physical and spiritual aspects.

William Gomes, who, in addition to being a football coach, is also director of the i10 Brazil unit in Macau, explains the work that will be carried out on Saturday. “We are going to train these Fu Hong Society teenagers and adults as we work daily with our more than 200 athletes, both from the school and from the elite teams. It will be a fun morning, full of love and learning. It will certainly be as impressive to them as it is to us. All our technicians will participate in the event for maximum support. It is an honor for i10 Brazil Macau to participate in such a special moment,” he said.

The activities planned for Saturday involve physical training as well as basic football training, with short matches between athletes so that they feel like professional players. The training will take place in society field.
