CSR Sports established a partnership between Ivo10 Brazil Football Academy and Mixto Esporte Clube, from Mato Grosso, to compete in the Copa São Paulo 2022, the largest youth competition held in the Brazil, with its opening scheduled for January 2nd. Ivo10's Brazil unit began work in Teutônia, in Rio Grande do Sul, on May 10 of this year and, in less than a year of activity, it faces yet another major challenge. In 2021 alone, there were nine competitions for the U-15 and U-17 teams, one of which was the U-17 State Championship, promoted by the Federação Gaúcha de Futebol (FGF), which was played in partnership with the EC Guarani-RS.
The agreement between Mixto-MT and Ivo10 Brazil was sealed on October 6th, at the CSR Sports / Ivo 10 Brazil office, in São Paulo (SP). Businessman César Soler received the soccer director of the Mato Grosso team, Mário Cândia, who represented the club's president, Vinícius Falcão. The agreement is valid for the dispute of Copinha 2022 and can be extended to other competitions such as Copa do Brasil Sub-20 2022 and Campeonato Mato-Grossense 2nd Division 2022.
Creator, co-founder and president of Ivo10 Brazil, football athlete Ivo, midfielder of Henan Songshan Longmen, from China, explained that the partnership with Mixto-MT is another step in the growth of Ivo10 both in Brazil and in Asia. The project began in May 2020 with the Macau unit, which currently works with around 250 children and teenagers aged between 3 and 16 years. In addition to the soccer school, the Asia unit has elite teams in the U-10, U-12, U-14, U-16 and U-19 categories that compete in the main competitions in the country.
According to the partnership's successes, Ivo10 Brazil enters with half of the cast and the entire technical committee. Serginho Almeida, who at the beginning of December this season led the U-17 team in winning the bi-championship of the Campeonato Liga Serrana 2021, will be the coach of Mixto-MT at Copinha. In addition to the players and group of professionals, the pre-season takes place at the Ivo10 Brazil training center, in Teutônia (RS), since the beginning of November, when players from Cuiabá (MT) arrived in Rio Grande do Sul. The delegation travels to the host city, in São Paulo, only on January 1st.
The registration of athletes to participate in the Copa São Paulo 2022 ended on November 30th. According to the regulations, the club lists 30 names, but only 25 will be used in the competition. The exchanges until the debut, on January 2nd, must take place with the excess number of subscribers. Each team chose 15 players to form the group. Mixto-MT selected youngsters from its U-20 squad, while Ivo10 Brazil signed up two U-20, 13 U-17 and one U-15 age group.
