2021 U-12 Trigo D’Ouro Football League is back with a game between Must CPK and i10 Brazil

Between the 25th of September and the 19th of October, external activities were vetoed following instructions from the Macau health authorities after the confirmation of a case of Covid-19 in the country. After the emergency situation, football competitions are back.

The i10 Brazil Football Academy returns to the field for 2021 U12 Trigo D'Ouro Football League on Saturday (23), at 11:30 am, when they face Must CPK in the match valid for the 2nd round. In its debut, on September 18, before the country's total stoppage, the team led by coach William Gomes thrashed Benfica Macau by 8-4, with goals from Lucas (4), Salvador (3) and Atif.

William Gomes, in the match against Must CPK, will fulfill his role as director of the Macau i10 Brazil unit, while coach Fernando Tifê will be in charge of the team. The manager spoke about this chance in board line. “We are looking forward to this opportunity for Tifê, the team's coach at the Coca Cola Cup, to lead the championship held at Caesars Golf on Saturday. It is an excellent opportunity for him to continue developing the great work he has been doing with the children in training now in a competition as important as Trigo D’ Ouro”, he said.

Gomes also spoke about the return of the U-12 competition after a break of practically a month. “The return of the U-12 is moving us. We are really anxious about this game because it comes after a long stop after a beautiful debut in the competition, against Benfica. That day we played a great game and gained a lot of confidence after the victory. And we wanted to continue this feeling in the group after that great moment”, he explained.

And he continued: "Whether we like it or not, with the break, our confidence will slow down, but we've tried to work the boys' minds over the past week to regain that confidence and to enter the field calmly and thus be able to play our game, to show everything that was trained. We strive a lot for the team to take the field with the same naturalness as we have done in other competitions”, he concluded.

Fernando Tife summoned 16 athletes for the match between i10 Brazil and Must CPK. They are Alvin Cheong, Alexander Koratzopoulos, Batu Tugla, Daniel De Sousa, Harrison Tang, Hayden Wong, Jacob Copland, Jayden Yu, Joviano Lai, Louis Peade, Lucas Sands, Marco Au, Nuno Sin, Salvador Rodrigues, Vincent Sio and William Sio .
